General Regulations for Massage Therapists
While the Law and its amendments initiated the professionalization of massage, it was the General Regulations of the Board of Examiners of Massage Therapists that truly set this framework in motion.
These regulations detail the election mechanisms for the Board of Massage Therapists, as well as everything related to licensing, business regulations, prohibited practices, and the code of ethics for our profession.
It is essential that we all familiarize ourselves with this document, however redundant and tedious its reading may seem. In the legal sphere, ignorance is no excuse for anyone receiving the corresponding punishment under the law.

Regulations for Continuing Education of Massage Therapists
Every three years, massage therapists must renew their licenses. For this, as with the original application, we must submit a series of documents, pay a fee, and provide evidence of attendance at Continuing Education workshops.
