A philosophy of life

Each person carries within their heart the desire to fulfill a mission. Our mission is to help those whose mission is to heal through touch. Those who have a natural curiosity in their fingers: what muscles, what bones, what tendons are their fingers feeling… They want to know how to talk to those tissues so that they release tension… They have always liked to rub their families, and their friends. They have a special talent… an intuition to know where to touch. Our mission is for them to be able to fulfill their mission. To provide them with the tools. To guide them on the path of manual therapy. A path that forks many times and whose possibilities are never exhausted.

If a student leaves our institute leading a life identical to the one they led, then we did not fulfill our mission. We firmly believe that conscious touch transforms lives. And at Puerto Rico Massage we understand that the process begins with oneself, and then, like an expanding wave, it can be carried to others.

Our vision is that massage therapy combines the best of both worlds: science and intuition. In fact, we know from experience that these two paradigms are not opposed, but rather complement each other. That is why massage, like life, is an art.
