What is Myofascial Therapy?
Many massage therapists are unaware that the cells of the body's tissues, such as muscle cells, are embedded in a connective tissue matrix that constitutes the majority of body tissue, if we remove the water.
This connective tissue, also called fascia or intersticium, has its own characteristics. When a manual therapist understands these characteristics and uses techniques that take them into account, they can achieve greater and better results. Myofascial techniques are becoming increasingly important in the world of high-level manual therapy.
This workshop is a collaboration between Puerto Rico Massage and Advanced Trainings, an institution whose workshops are internationally acclaimed.
